Acumatica licensing is available through a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) or Private Cloud Subscription.

Acumatica SaaS Subscription: Provides access to the cloud-based version of Acumatica and includes:

  • Software updates and bi-annual upgrades released by Acumatica

Acumatica Private Cloud Subscription: Allows hosting of Acumatica’s ERP software on-premises or with an Acumatica value-added reseller (VAR) or a third-party provider and includes:

  • Software fees
  • Software updates and bi-annual upgrades released by Acumatica

How Acumatica’s pricing protection works

Acumatica has a yearly licensing renewal process that all Acumatica resellers follow. Your initial one-year Acumatica subscription price is locked for the services you initially select and only changes if you add features. 

At renewal time, your reseller will ask you to renew your licensing for the next 12-month period. You can drop any modules or features you no longer need or lower your Acumatica tier.
 
Software providers typically increase pricing annually, and Acumatica is no different. However, Acumatica uses a price cap to prevent customers’ renewal licensing costs from increasing more than 10% over the previous year. The cap applies to subscriptions that remain the same or add additional services; it doesn’t apply to reduced subscriptions.

Items excluded from the price protection include Acumatica-provided support and Acumatica Marketplace products.
